Fun show, terrible box set
The countries of Roxche and Bezel Itoa have been at war for over a century, but are currently enjoying a ceasefire. Will is a student in Roxche about to start his relaxing summer break... But his childhood friend, Allison, has other plans. Allison is a pilot in the Roxchen air force, and she is both headstrong and adventurous. Soon they find themselves in enemy territory on a quest to find a treasure that will stop the war for good!
Allison & Lillia is a fast paced and enjoyable series. The first half covers three story arcs and a kind of epilogue. Every arc manages to have one eye rolling plot point, but the characters help pull you through.
The second half follows the second generation and is closely patterned after the first half. Again it is split into 3 primary story arcs and again the over theme is a love story between one very capable person and one very, very, clueless person. The story arcs aren't as strong as ones in the first half, and Lillia is nowhere near...
I liked this series better than most.
Above average story line and development. Recomend it to any anime fan. add it to you collection you won't be disappointed.
