Koihime Muso
The Three Kingdom era of China started at the collapse of the Han Dynasty near the end of the second century,in western time, and, much as the western world's Dark Ages, legends and heros were born, heroic deeds performed and the stories have been retold for nearly two thousand years, with a few modifications,of course. In this series, all but one of the heroes are female, wearing costumes not relavent to any era,( quite frankly, the costumes are a bit idiotic)and all having names of characters of the several other series based, ever so loosley on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The era existed, the characters (mostly) existed but,in all likleyhood, not all the adventures really occured;in fact doubtful any really happened. Most of the names are the same as those in the Ikki Tousen series and those names and persons appear in other more factual stories of that era.
This series is not for those that are seeking historical knowledge,it is for entertainment and,to that end,it is...
Fantastic!
I've been waiting for a collection of this series for some time now. I ordered it and was delivered faster than I anticipated. Overall, a fantastic purchase.
Great Series, product display not good...
I went online and finally found a review on this ultimate collection and found out that the discs were all on one single spindle and like a cushion to keep them from moving around. I didn't like that but I wanted this series for so long and when I knew I could get all three for a lower price than spending much more for each one individually it was perfect. Anyway what I did was I ordered a 6 disc dvd case from One Stop Outlet here on Amazon.com, and got ten cases for a low price. Once I received both items I simply placed the discs in the nice 6 disc case and placed the cover art through the case sleeve. I did find out that the cover was a tad to big but all I needed to do was cut a small strip off the back cover without taking to much of the art off and simply slid it in there and it fit perfectly.
